Healing Luxury is our approach to travel, designed to care for the whole human. It begins with how you feel in your body, deepens in the quiet of wild nature, grows through meaningful connection, and becomes something greater when your restoration helps restore someone else.
Healing is not only for what is broken. It is how we protect what is beautiful before it is lost. It is how we reconnect with the people we love, become present in our own lives, and create room for more joy, clarity, courage, and purpose.
We did not create The Aerial, BVI simply to give people somewhere beautiful to escape. We created it to give people space to return to themselves.
Because sometimes what we call a vacation is only a temporary interruption. We may leave our responsibilities behind, but carry the same noise, exhaustion, disconnection, and pressure with us. We return home rested on the surface, but unchanged underneath.
We believed travel could do more. It could quiet the noise long enough for you to hear your own life again. It could nourish your body so deeply that you are free to think about something other than how tired, heavy, uncomfortable, or depleted you feel. It could replace pressure with presence, isolation with connection, and exhaustion with a renewed sense of possibility. It could remind you that you are still here for a reason.
That belief became The Aerial, BVI. This is Healing Luxury, The Aerial Way.

OUR BEGINNING
The story of The Aerial, BVI did not begin with a hotel concept. It began with a 12-year-old girl who learned that children were being bought and sold and decided her life had to help stop it. That girl was our founder, Britnie Turner.
After first learning about child trafficking at 12 years old, Britnie spent much of her teenage years participating in mission work in some of the world's most desperate communities. She saw children suffering from horrors they should never have known and families facing such extreme poverty that desperation made their children vulnerable to exploitation.
She knew she wanted to rescue children, but she also began asking a larger question: what creates a world in which so many people are left unprotected in the first place?
Britnie came to understand that lasting change required more than reacting to suffering after it occurred. It required creating opportunity, strengthening communities, protecting human dignity, and helping people believe that their lives could matter.
Real estate was never only about buildings for her. It became a tool for transforming struggling areas, creating economic opportunity, and showing people what could be possible when someone was willing to invest where others had given up.
But over time, Britnie began to recognize another, quieter crisis beneath so much preventable suffering. Too many people were living disconnected from their worth and purpose. They were drifting through life, believing the lie that they did not matter, that their choices could not change anything, or that changing the world was something reserved for someone more powerful, more qualified, or more important.
Britnie believed the opposite. She believed every person was created for a reason. She believed an individual living fully aligned with their purpose could change a family, a community, an industry, or even the world.
She also believed that people often do not need someone else to give them their purpose. They need enough peace to hear it, enough joy to believe in it, enough courage to act on it, and enough space to remember who they truly are.
The Aerial, BVI was created to become that space. A place where the noise could fall away. A place where people could feel good in their bodies, experience adventure, become present with the people they love, reconnect with nature, and go deep enough within themselves to discover what had been buried beneath years of responsibility, expectation, distraction, or survival. A place where someone could gain the clarity to take the next brave step into their calling.
Because when people live more authentically, love more deeply, and use their lives for what they were created to do, the world becomes better. That is the deeper reason The Aerial, BVI exists.
THE AERIAL PERSPECTIVE
The name The Aerial, BVI was chosen with intention. An aerial perspective allows us to rise above what surrounds us and see the larger picture. The problems have not disappeared, but we can understand them differently. We can recognize where we have been, see where we are going, and identify the next step with greater clarity.
That is what we hope happens here. From the island's highest points, the ocean stretches in every direction. The noise falls away. The things that once felt overwhelming begin to take their proper size. You remember that this moment is part of a much larger story.
The Aerial, BVI gives you space to step above the pace of everyday life, look honestly at what is working and what is not, and reconnect with the person you know you are capable of becoming.
An aerial perspective does not ask you to have every answer. It simply helps you see the next brave step.
HEALING LUXURY
For us, luxury is not excess. It is having enough space to exhale. It is being deeply cared for without having to ask.
It is food that delights you while helping you feel good in your body. It is an adventure that awakens something within you, followed by complete permission to do absolutely nothing. It is waking beside the sea, spending time with a rescued horse, hiking to the top of the island, laughing with people you love, and remembering that your life is bigger than your responsibilities.
True luxury should not numb you. It should restore you. It should help your nervous system settle, your body feel supported, your mind become clearer, and your spirit remember what matters.
Healing Luxury is hospitality designed not only around what guests consume, but around how they feel, what they remember, and who they may become while they are here.
You do not leave with only photographs and souvenirs. You leave with something restored.
OUR WHOLE-HUMAN PHILOSOPHY
We do not believe wellness is one treatment, one class, one menu, or one morning routine. We believe the whole human matters.
The body needs nourishment, movement, sunlight, water, sleep, and safety. The mind needs room to become quiet. The heart needs connection and permission to feel. The spirit needs beauty, meaning, hope, faith, and something larger than itself.
Your experience at The Aerial, BVI is designed to support all of those parts without turning your vacation into another performance. There are no gold stars for attending every class. No pressure to follow the perfect schedule. No expectation that everyone heals, rests, celebrates, or reconnects in the same way.
Sail all day. Sleep until noon. Hike to the island's highest point. Float in the Caribbean. Laugh over dinner. Sit beside a horse. Dance barefoot. Pray. Journal. Talk for hours. Say nothing at all.

WILD BY DESIGN
We allowed the island to teach us a new definition of luxury.
When we began creating The Aerial, BVI, we made a deliberate decision not to overdevelop it, overpolish it, or erase the very thing that made it extraordinary. We wanted it to remain wild. The roads are dirt roads. The terrain is natural. The hills are meant to be explored. Miles of trails wind through the island rather than replacing it with perfectly manicured pathways.
The wildness is not unfinished. It is intentional.
Here, luxury can be a dirt road leading to a view no lobby could reproduce. It can be the feeling of climbing until the noise falls away. It can be standing at the top of a trail with ocean in every direction and realizing that, for the first time in a long time, no one needs anything from you.
Nature does something for us that perfectly controlled environments cannot. It reminds us that beauty does not require perfection. It makes us pay attention. It brings us back into our senses. It slows us down enough to hear what is happening within us.
The island does not ask you to perform. It does not need you to rush. It gives you permission to move slowly, notice more, listen deeply, and become still enough to hear your own truth.
The natural beauty is not simply the backdrop to the experience. It is part of the experience. The sound of the wind. The salt in the air. The uneven path beneath your feet. The ocean in every direction. The quiet that begins outside of you and eventually finds its way inside.
In a world constantly asking for our attention, The Aerial, BVI gives it back to us.
NO-RULES WELLNESS
Somewhere along the way, wellness became another set of rules people could fail. We wanted to create the opposite.
Our No-Rules Wellness Kitchen was built around a simple belief: you should not have to choose between food that tastes incredible and food that helps your body feel its best. Food should not become another problem you have to solve while you are here.
We want you to feel so good in your body that you are free to think about something else. Free to be present with your family. Free to dream. Free to create. Free to explore. Free to have meaningful conversations. Free to laugh, move, play, and notice the life happening around you. Free from spending your vacation feeling heavy, depleted, uncomfortable, or guilty about what you ate.
That is the heart of our No-Rules Wellness Kitchen. If it is here, it is good for you. That is not only a promise about ingredients. It is a promise that we have already done the thinking so you can simply enjoy.
Meals are created without refined sugars, seed oils, preservatives, or artificial ingredients. Produce, herbs, and other nourishing ingredients are grown in our Island Farmacy gardens whenever possible or thoughtfully sourced from neighboring islands and trusted partners. But the experience is never meant to feel restrictive. It is generous, joyful, flavorful, and abundant.
Healthy should never taste like a compromise, and caring for your body should never take the joy out of living.
The same philosophy runs throughout The Aerial, BVI. Movement can mean mindful stretching, hiking, swimming, sailing, dancing, or walking the beach. Mindfulness can happen during meditation, but it can also happen while watching the sunrise, floating in the sea, or hearing the water beneath a paddleboard at night.
Wellness is not something you complete here. It becomes part of how you live.
HEALING, BOTH WAYS
Redemption Ranch is an initiative of Aerial Recovery, our partner nonprofit, and is proudly sponsored by The Aerial, BVI. The Aerial, BVI provides the island home, care, and sponsorship that help make the initiative possible.
Through Redemption Ranch, horses, miniature horses, zebras, and other animals that were once abandoned, neglected, discarded, or threatened with slaughter have been given safety, care, and another chance at life. Today, those same animals help people slow down, regulate, become present, rebuild trust, and reconnect with parts of themselves that words may not easily reach.
There is something deeply healing about standing in the presence of an animal that has suffered, survived, and learned to trust again. The animals do not care about your title, your past, your accomplishments, or the version of yourself you present to the rest of the world. They meet you exactly where you are.
Their stories express one of our deepest beliefs. Being wounded does not make a life worthless. A difficult chapter does not have to become the final chapter. What has survived can become strong again. What has been rescued can become a source of healing for someone else. What was once considered disposable can still carry extraordinary purpose.
That truth belongs to the animals. It also belongs to us.
Through its partnership with Aerial Recovery, The Aerial, BVI helps sponsor the continued care of the animals and restorative Redemption Ranch experiences serving veterans, first responders, survivors, children, families, and members of the British Virgin Islands community.
Healing moves both ways here. The animals receive care. The people receive something they may not have known they needed.
RESTORATION SHOULD RIPPLE
The Aerial, BVI is a proud hospitality partner and sponsor of Aerial Recovery, our partner nonprofit dedicated to saving lives, stopping evil, and helping people move from survival into renewed purpose.
Through this partnership, The Aerial, BVI provides hospitality, space, sponsorship, and an island environment where selected Aerial Recovery programs can help restore people carrying wounds the world may never see.
Some guests arrive at The Aerial, BVI to celebrate. Some come to rest. Others arrive after spending years saving everyone around them while quietly losing parts of themselves.
Through Aerial Recovery's Heal the Heroes initiative, veterans and first responders have come to the island to rebuild identity, connection, hope, and purpose. Many have carried enormous responsibility, witnessed unimaginable suffering, or struggled to understand who they are after the uniform comes off. Here, they are reminded that their mission did not end. The courage, leadership, discipline, and skills forged through hardship can be repurposed to save lives, protect children, respond to disasters, mentor others, and serve the world again.
The Aerial, BVI also helps sponsor Redemption Ranch experiences that support children, survivors, families, and members of our local community through connection with rescued animals.
This is why we say The Aerial, BVI is a force for good disguised as a resort. It is not a marketing phrase. It is the reason this place exists.
Your vacation should never require you to carry the weight of the world or spend your stay volunteering. We believe the future of travel will not be limited to treatments guests have to schedule or wellness activities they have to complete. Healing should be quietly woven into the places where people eat, sleep, move, gather, explore, and rest.
It should be felt in the quality of the food, the purity of the surroundings, the freedom to move, the presence of nature, the care of the team, the quiet of the rooms, and the way an experience helps someone feel inside their own body.
From nature-oriented spaces and nourishing food to thoughtful wellness technologies integrated into the guest experience, we continue exploring how The Aerial, BVI can support calm, balance, sleep, energy, clarity, and renewal.
We are not interested in chasing wellness trends for the sake of being first. We are interested in creating a place that cares for people more completely. A place where innovation and nature coexist. Where ancient wisdom and emerging technology can support one another. Where adventure and stillness are equally important. Where luxury is measured not only by how something looks, but by how deeply it cares for you.
That is Healing Luxury. And we believe it represents a new way to travel.
A NOTE FROM OUR FOUNDER
The Aerial, BVI did not begin with my desire to own a resort. It began with my desire to rescue children.When I was 12 years old, I learned about the reality of child trafficking, and something inside me changed. I knew that I could not live my entire life knowing children were suffering and decide it was someone else's problem to solve. That calling shaped the choices I made, the businesses I built, and eventually the creation of Aerial Recovery.
But the deeper I went into the world's suffering, the more I understood that rescue alone could never be the entire answer. We have to rescue people from what is hurting them, but we also have to help create a world where fewer people become vulnerable in the first place.
I began to see one of the quieter roots beneath so much suffering: people who no longer believed their lives mattered. People who had forgotten that they were here for a reason. People who had become disconnected from their values, their relationships, their faith, their dreams, or the unique contribution only they could make.
When people believe their lives do not matter, it becomes easier to drift, settle, numb themselves, look away, or accept a life that was never truly theirs.
But when a person remembers that they are here for a reason, everything can begin to change. They love differently. They lead differently. They raise their children differently. They use their resources differently. They become more courageous, more compassionate, and more willing to take responsibility for the world around them.
I created The Aerial, BVI because I wanted there to be a place where people could become still enough to remember who they are. A place filled with enough peace to hear their truth. Enough joy to believe that life can still be beautiful. Enough adventure to awaken their courage. Enough nourishment to help their bodies feel strong. Enough nature to restore perspective. Enough connection to remind them they do not have to walk through life alone. And enough space to ask the questions we so rarely give ourselves time to ask.
Why am I here? What matters most? What have I been afraid to become? What would I do if I truly believed my life could change the world?
I created The Aerial, BVI before I knew how deeply I would one day need its philosophy myself. Through my own journey with cancer, I have learned more intimately than ever that healing is rarely one thing. It is the food that supports the body. The faith that steadies the spirit. The people who refuse to let you walk alone. The courage to keep going. The joy that reminds you life is still happening. The stillness to listen. And the purpose that reminds you why your life matters.
My healing journey has not changed the heart of The Aerial, BVI. It has made that heart clearer. I understand more deeply than ever that people need places that care for the whole human, not only the part of them that the world can see.
The Aerial, BVI is not a place I created because I have all the answers. It is a place I created because I believe every life has extraordinary value, every person is worthy of being cared for, and no difficult chapter should be allowed to write the ending of someone's story.
I do not want you to leave The Aerial, BVI feeling like you have become someone else. I want you to leave more connected to who you were always created to be. I hope you feel better in your body. Clearer in your mind. More present in your relationships. Stronger in your spirit. More honest about what you want. More courageous about the life you are being called to live. And more willing to use your life as a force for good.Because when you take the next step into your purpose, love more deeply, and live more authentically, your life changes.
